1) How much will it cost to live there?
The semester rates (6 months) are:
– Studio = $6,600 ($1,100 per month);
– 2-Bedroom = $9,600 ($1,600 per month);
– Shared 2-bedroom apartment $10,200 ($1,700 per month):
Master bedroom #1 = $5,400 ($900 per month);
Standard bedroom #2 = $4,800 ($800 per month);
Rent will be due in full for the entire semester by the 14th day of each semester.
Rent includes utilities, trash service, cable, internet, laundry facilities, access to maintenance and security, parking and the convenience of living right next to the RVUCOM building.
2) Will pets be allowed in student housing?
All of CCSR apartments are pet-friendly. Domesticated dogs and cats are allowed, 1 pet per student in each apartment. A Pet and Animal Policy form will need to be signed in addition to the Rental Agreement, and the annual (non-refundable) Pet Cleaning Fee of $125 will need to be paid.
3) How many apartments/beds are available?
There are 43 apartments per building – 28 studio apartments and 15 2-bedroom apartments. Studio apartments have 1 bed. 2-bedroom apartments have one master bedroom with bath (Bed #1) and one additional bedroom (Bed #2) with a separate bath. A limited number of 2-bedroom units have a shower only in the Master bath (Bed #1). All bedrooms have full-size beds. Special arrangements can be made on a case by case basis for individuals whose height and/or weight or relationship or child situation make a full-size bed a challenge.

- Entire 2-bedroom unit – up to 4 people (1 has to be a current RVU student)
4) When will the club housing be built?
A clubhouse with a fitness center and outdoor pool/BBQ area will be part of the next phase of building.
5) When can students move into the apartments?
Once accepted to RVU, a student may lease an apartment at CCSR. Current vacancies are listed on the Vacancies tab. Once the lease is signed, arrangements for immediate move-in are available. Leases are 12-month leases, July 1 – June 30.
6) How do I sign up for an apartment?
Applications will be sent out to students on the waitlist in the order we receive them. If you would like to receive an application, please join our waiting list: Join Waitlist.
7) What are the Application Fees/Security Deposit?
There are 2 fees: A non-refundable Application Fee of $50 (due with the application) and a refundable Security Deposit of $1000 (due within 72 hours of signing the Housing Agreement).
8) Is there a waiting list?
Apartments are filled on a first come, first served basis for qualifying applications. Waiting lists for each type of apartment accommodation will be created as needed. If you are called for an apartment while on the waiting list and choose not to accept it, you will go to the bottom of that waiting list.
9) What does “fully furnished” include?

10) Do we have to use the furniture in the apartments or can we bring our own?
All provided furniture must remain in the apartments. (special circumstances will be considered on a case by case basis). All additional pieces of personal furniture must be approved by the Housing Director before being placed in a room/apartment.
11) Is there parking?
Yes. CCSR has a residential parking lot with access to overflow at RVU. One parking permit per adult living in CCSR is included in the rent. Parking permits are available from the Housing Director.
12) How many washing machines are available and what do laundry services cost?
There are 5 washing machine/dryer combination units with one additional dryer in each building. Use of laundry services is included in the rent. Laundry baskets and detergents, etc. are the responsibility of the resident.
13) What kind of storage space is there?
Storage space is limited to the closets, cupboards, and dressers in the apartments. CCSR has made every effort to create storage space within the apartments/rooms. Students seeking additional storage space will need to look in the community for options.
